Turn Around Negative Reports!

Romans 4:17 NKJV …God who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did…

Have any of your children been given a negative Dr’s report or a negative report of their behavior in school or other settings? The first report is NOT the last report! You can’t identify them as that. Don’t say THEIR asthma or THEIR ADHD. It’s NOT theirs, Jesus paid the price on the cross. You can say THE asthma or THE behavioral issues…I received my nursing licensed in 1982 so I had some medical back ground and want to say, I’m not against medical treatment or Drs. But sometimes they get it wrong and you have the Holy Spirit to lead you, for YOUR family. Let me give you an example. My first born son, Andy had a severe case of colic the first three months of his life, even while nursing him. My husband worked midnights and I was alone to walk through this difficult season during the deep nights. You have to realize this was back in 1988 when there wasn’t NEAR as much knowledge of healthy eating, food allergies or sensitivities, etc…We got through the colic stage, and I stopped nursing him at six months old. Our Pediatrician said we could place him on regular cows milk. Then a new set of symptoms began, severe constipation was the first sign. His tummy would get so distended he was miserable and so was I, because when your children are uncomfortable, it hurts YOU the same! At this time I was learning to seek God on a new level, learning to discern the leading and voice of the Holy Spirit in daily decisions. I heard a word, “milk” while praying one day. But I wanted confirmation from the medical team. The Pediatrician didn’t agree and said it was time to send him to a specialist (Pediatric Gastroenterologist) for testing. This Dr gave some very grave reports even BEFORE any tests were done. Before leaving the office, Dr told me he may have a colostomy (a bag attached to the colon, to be worn outside of the body) for the rest of his life. WHAT! I walked out of that office with a TENACITY and FIRE as I declared OUT LOUD in the hallway…”I DO NOT RECEIVE THAT REPORT!” The tests were GRUELING! At 18 months old I had to give Andy enemas til clear. I was crying during the entire process as I felt he didn’t understand why his mommy was putting him through this! He had Barium enema x-rays, rectal biopsies, etc….He was a CHAMP! There was a SUPERNATURAL GRACE on him at 18 m/o! Dr’s were so impressed at his level of maturity through this process! Don’t forget ALL along we are STILL STANDING on the WORD OF GOD IN PRAYER! Tests all came back perfectly normal, which I FULLY expected! I now had a confirmation in my heart to take him off cows milk. I told the Dr face to face, “now that you have done your test, I’m going to take him off cows milk!” Through my own research I found a goat farm in our area (next best milk to a mothers milk). Goat milk could not be purchased in stores in 1988! It was expensive, BUT SO WORTH the results. He immediately began having normal daily bowel movements! Hallelujah! This is only one part to the story, and there will be more to come in later blogs. You need to remember to “calls those things which do not exist as though they do!” Speak LIFE over every diagnosis and negative title given to your children! God’s WORD is our ROCK! Open your mouth and SPEAK the scriptures over whatever situation you are walking through with your children!
