Anchored in God’s Word Part II

Isaiah 26:3, NKJV, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

When you keep your focus on the answer and NOT the problem, you will be victorious! Sounds easy, but not so easy when it’s YOU going through the challenge, especially when it takes days, months, or even years to see the breakthrough! It can be an emotional roller coaster with consistant negative thoughts rolling over and over in your head and can hinder you from moving forward! Isaiah 26:3 is so TRUE. It’s the ANSWER to every challenge! When you keep your focus on the answer from the WORD of God, it will ALWAYS bring peace! You may be asking, “But how do I keep my focus on the answer when the problem I’m facing is SO BIG?” Here’s the HOW TO…Every time the “thought” of whatever is challenging you comes up, you speak the scripture you’re standing on LOUDER than the negative words you are hearing in your ear, or your mind. You say it out loud until the voice in your head is gone, and the scripture you are speaking is what you hear.

TRUST is the second part of that scripture and believing for your answer! You have to trust that God loves you, and He is a GOOD God and He has a GOOD plan for you! When walking through something that you can’t personally control, it seems overwhelming at times! The answer IS keeping your eyes FIXED on Jesus, FIXED through prayer and FIXED on the Word of God (the Bible). Preston’s 8th Grade year

Picking up where I left off in Part I of this three part blog post, I want to express that Preston was a BIG part of declaring and believing for a SUPERNATURAL healing and for the cast to come off sooner than the original 12 week plan! We had another doctor visit. A new X-ray was taken and this time Preston got his cast off! Hallelujah! We were SO EXCITED! And it came off 4 weeks early! Prayers were being answered! He couldn’t wait to get home into the jacuzzi tub with his FULL body! He soaked for a FULL 30 minutes! After this warm bath, he was walking perfectly! It had relaxed all of the tendons and ligaments for him to walk normal again, we were SEEING a WALKING MIRACLE! By the end of the day he was having to use crutches as the stiffness and soreness set in on his first day without a cast. But he couldn’t wait to call his coach to tell him the good news! Over the next several weeks Preston and his coach worked hard to get his ankle strong again, with exercises, stretches and an ice bucket at the end of each day while at school! About 6 weeks later, he was on the slopes snowboarding while on the youth ski trip, WOW! And about 2 months after that, he was running track! With tears in my eyes as I watched him run around the track, I was thanking God for this SUPERNATURAL healing! He was running WITHOUT a brace and not long ago he had a FULL leg cast! WOW God! But this is NOT the end of the story, we had to continue to walk in FAITH and not by the doctors report.
